Vancouver Island is a magical place, full of beauty and wonder. Rainy Island Imagery (RII) captures the majesty of the flora and fauna that gives this place character. Beginning in 2026, RII will be at select Vancouver Island markets selling stretched canvas prints over a wooden frame. These West Coast art prints are the perfect accent for your home decor. Other imagery products will also be available.

Vancouver Island is the home to 50 First Nations communities belonging to three distinct cultural families: The Coast Salish, Nuu-chah-nulth and Kwakwaka’wakw. Rainy Island Imagery is grateful to be able to work here.

A 22 year veteran of the Canadian Forces, Dave Payne grew up in Duncan and spent his career as a military photographer. Over the course of his career his work has been published in newspapers, magazines as well as video work on some television projects. The years took a toll on his mental health. With a complex PTSD diagnosis he understands the sacrifices our veterans make and is committed to donating a portion of proceeds to Wounded Warriors Canada.
